83 St Kingsmark Avenue, Chepstow, Monmouthshire is for sale
It is a four (4) bedroom house and has been on the market with Chepstow estate agent
Peter Moon & Co.
Our agreement with that estate agency has ended.
The advertised details were accessible via
rightmove.co.uk, but have now been removed, together with the sign outside
our house (28 October 2008).
Until this site can be revised, a brochure
with the details can be downloaded in the form of an Adobe Acrobat (PDF)
file.
The original purpose of this web page was to provide additional on-line information.
As this
map shows, the property is very near Chepstow town centre. at the lower end
of The Danes, which can be
reached by a short, level, walk. Google Earth provides a nice
aerial view of the property and the immediate area. The buildings glimpsed
at top left are those of The Dell Primary School. Castle Dell, leading down to
Chepstow Castle is at the top of the view, as is Welsh Street which runs, left
to right, from Chepstow Racecourse to the town centre.
For children attending The Dell Primary School, it is a short, level,
walk to the end of St Kingsmark Ave and turn left. Check the
map. The 2007 "A
Report on the Quality of Education" at that well-respected school is
available.

In it, the Energy Efficiency Rating is
a respectable current 61% with a potential of 68%. However, since
that assessment was carried out, the loft space has been insulated to comply
with the requirements of
BS5803-5,
and Carbon Saver
cavity wall insulation installed, which satisfies the minimum Government
standard for new-build homes. Also, all windows have been double-glazed to
a B energy rating using the Deceuninck Zendow 3000 profile.
At these times of ever rising fuel costs for transport and heating, this
property has a decided advantage.
